Being working in a health care sector, I came across many patients who are suffering from deadly disease like; cancer. No doubt, this disease is so frightening that every individual gets scared with its name only.

Many of us no doubt facing & suffering various challenges in life. I have seen & noticed; people are so much stressed & worried considering their unbearable challenges. Few of us give the response to their hurdle instead of reacting on it, which makes the real difference.

Working with a patient is a daily dose for new motivation but few make emboss in the memory. It says that the more you think negative, the more negativity is the part of your path & the more you hopeful & positive you attract positivity towards goal.

I remembered the person who makes this quote real & marked example for other sufferers. This was a story of the year probably 2015 which gave a different direction to face any hurdle of life.

I do remember, on the occasion of Rose day for cancer patient in September, we decided to visit cancer patients at various shelter homes along with ayurvedic cancer hospitals, where we could spend quality time with cancer patients & their caretakers. They were so happy while receiving a rose which made us overwhelmed. Many of them left their schooling, job, farming because of Cancer treatment they are taking in Mumbai. Many stated they have not met their family members since several months. It was cleared uncertainty in their eyes about their future & darkness in present...

It was an entire week, which we dedicated to cancer patients & we met over 3000 cancer patients. Every patient was sharing their challenging stories, which were not comparable with the common people who do face in their life.

While meeting various people, one young boy around 28 years old asked whether he can join us. He was looking so happy & enthusiastic while meeting all of them.

He said, “I am here since a month but I couldn’t get an opportunity to meet each & every cancer patient here, but you guys gave me a chance to interact with everyone”. First of all, his random involvement that too in ayurvedic cancer hospital made us more curious about him & we requested him to introduce himself.

He replied, “I am a cancer patient (which kept us in shock for a while), I have gone through various cycles of the treatment as I have gone through 35+ chemotherapies & over 20 radiation cycles. The doctor told me that my disease is not treatable anymore. My parents were so much broke after knowing this, but I was very confident about myself. I decided to defeat cancer anyhow, Looking at my positive behaviour doctor refer me to this ayurvedic cancer hospital where I am pursuing treatment. I wanted to meet all the patients here but I was not getting a reason to interact with them now cause of you I can be more comfortable with them”.

The dark black marks of radiation, weakness due to the chemo cycles he took, still shining in his eyes taught us, no one can beat you until and unless you accept the defeat.

After 2 years later, we got an opportunity to visit that ayurvedic cancer hospital again & we met the doctors there. I remembered him so I couldn’t hold my query about his health & his recovery. Then the doctor said, “He has been recovered, He defeated cancer. He comes for routine checkup sometimes like once in a year”

We don’t know him, but we were so happy for him. Wishing him a healthy & happy life forever.....
