D. S. Research Centre was inaugurated on August 19th 2010 at Cambridge Layout, Bengaluru. Ever since, we are providing individualized care and compassionate support to the Cancer patients.

Few months after the Inception of the centre in October 2010, D.S .Research Centre sponsored and participated in IFHNOS 2010 held at Taj Residency, Bangalore for 3 days. It was a conference participated by Oncologists, Medical Professionals and Students from world over. It was a very enriching experience.

Ever since the Inception, D.S. Research Centre Bengaluru has been participating in various Cancer awareness activities like seminars, Health check up camps on various occasions of Breast Cancer/Cervical Cancer/Lung cancer /Head and Neck Cancer awareness months. Where in the Doctors, Dietitian and team members conducted seminars in Schools, colleges, Corporate sectors ,Hotels etc .To name a few St.Anns college, St.Josephs college, Kaveri School ,BBMP School, Police quarters, JP Citadal Hotel ,Standard Chartered Bank , SDM Ayurvedic college Hassan, Ayurvedic college Tumkur etc.

Cervical cancer detection camp(Colposcopy) was conducted for more than 100 women in Hassan in 2014 under the guidance of Dr.Uma.Devi.(MS.Ramaiah Hospital)

Lung cancer awareness seminars for police personals were held on quite a few occasions in Bengaluru.

On National Cancer Survivors day, felicitation for our cancer survivors is done every year. Survivors actively participate and share their experience and thereby motivate our existing patients.

5 th anniversary Celebration held in 2015 was a proud moment for us. The event was held in JP Fortune celestial hotel .We had the honour of having Dr.K.B.Linge Gowda ,Director Kidwai cancer Hospital as the chief guest and our Managing Director Mr.Ashok Trivedi and our Director Mr.Pankaj Nayan Trivedi in our midst.

In memory of Late Dr.Uma Shankar Tiwari, Blood donation camp is held every year on 6 th March in the centre in association with Rotary club and Kidwai Cancer Hospital. Where, we have many donors coming forward to donate blood.

Rose day was celebrated with cancer patients in various Hospitals. A blooming Red rose would bring a smile in the patients face amidst the turmoil their going through. The one in St.Johns hospital in 2014 is a memorable one. Diwali celebration was also held in the Children’s ward of Kidwai Hospital in the same year. Bringing smiles on the face of the children.

In the past 10 years we have been a witness to many cancer patients, whom we have treated come out of their suffering and there by leading a normal life. The patients whom we have treated and survived are a testimony to the care and support offered by this esteemed organization.

We have a great joy of looking back at our 10 years of dedicated service to our cancer patients and bringing back smiles in their lives. We are looking forward to many more years of service to mankind.
