Just what is sarcoma, exactly?
Sarcoma is an extremely rare form of cancer – in fact, it comprises approximately one percent of all cancers diagnosed. Sarcoma arises in the connective tissues of the body – including fat, blood vessels, nerves, bones, and muscles. Bone Sarcomas – Otherwise known as bone cancer, impacts the three types of bone tissue: compact, cancellous and subchondral Sarcomas can be further classified based on the type of presumed cell of origin found in the tumor, but all share certain characteristics and symptoms, including but not limited to:
If you or someone you know presents any combination of the above symptoms or even just one of them, it’s important to see a doctor right away. Early detection is key to fighting against cancer. |

Sushmita Bose diagnosed with Soft Tissue Sarcoma came under D.S. Research Center treatment from 24.10.2010. She came here with pain in the right knee, flatulence, weakness, occasional fever, unable to walk or stand for a long time. In 6 months to 1 year ups and downs have seen Mrs. Bose's health condition. Complaints of pain in the legs are reported frequently. After continuing for 4 to 5 months, she reported a decrease in pain but there was severe weakness. But gradually she improved a lot. Her energy level increased. After 3 years her reports were all within normal limits. Her CA 125 level was also within range. After reviewing all her reports, from 23.6.2014, alternate 2 days of medicine started. From 8.3.2015, alternate 4 days of medicine started. All her reports were normal. Occasionally there was pain in the leg. From 13.5.2017, alternate 6 days medicinal regimen started and continued to date. The patient is now leading an active life, all her parameters are within normal limits.
