Council for Cancer Care (CCC) is a non-profit organization that has been empowering the fight against cancer since 2009. What We Do: As the incidence of cancer rises, there is an obvious need to inform and educate the masses about cancer. Most cancer patients in India are unaware of what they are facing and do not know where to turn for answers. CCC empowers people against cancer through education, early detection, and support.

Education:

CCC focuses on educating people about the disease, clarifying their queries, and directing them towards healthier living. Various awareness seminars on signs and symptoms of cancer, prevention, benefits of a healthy lifestyle, importance of yoga in cancer, etc., are organized to empower the masses with knowledge on the disease and ways to fight it.

Early Detection:

Early detection of cancer can ensure effective treatment and save thousands of lives. CCC's early detection programs aim to empower people to screen for cancer even before signs and symptoms appear. Whether it is a general health camp, a talk on self-breast examination, oral checkup, or cervical cancer screening, CCC plans various early detection programs to arm the masses in the fight against cancer.

Support:

Cancer patients are often burdened with multiple treatments, homesickness, and never-ending bills, wherein their hope for a better life or even life itself fades away. CCC compassionately provides cancer patients with support on the emotional, financial, and medical fronts so that they can glide through the disease smoothly.

Future Aspirations:

Run awareness camps throughout India Provide necessary financial assistance to needy cancer patients Regularly publish useful literature/magazines on cancer to educate the masses Open rehabilitation centers at different places in India so that needy cancer patients can get free accommodation, care, and effective treatment.
