Ms. Barnali Nandi Purkayastha M.Sc. Food and Nutrition Dietitian, D. S. Research Centre, Guwahati. NOV 18. 1 month ago
On this special day, November 18, we celebrate the anniversary of D.S Research Centre Guwahati—a place where hope and healing come together to fight cancer. For over 14 years, our clinic has been a sanctuary for patients and families navigating the complexities of cancer, offering personalized ancient Ayurvedic based treatments grounded in decades of wisdom and compassion. At the heart of our work is Ancient ayurveda based Nutrient Energy Therapy, a treatment designed to help patients reclaim their lives. Whether it’s easing pain, stabilizing the disease, or enhancing quality of life, every effort we make is guided by a single mission: to keep hope alive. Over the past year, we’ve been privileged to walk alongside our patients and hear their stories of resilience, courage, and triumph. These are more than just stories; they’re reminders of why we do what we do. Inspiring Journeys of Courage Mrs. Bharati Bhattacharjee – Fighting Periampullary Carcinoma At 75, Mrs. Bharati Bhattacharjee faced a daunting diagnosis of periampullary carcinoma. Initially, she dealt with severe itching, weakness, and other challenges. After declining conventional treatments like surgery and chemotherapy, she chose D.S Research Centre Guwahati. Today, with regular Ayurvedic care and unwavering determination, Mrs. Bhattacharjee is living a stable, active life, often expressing gratitude for her second chance. Mrs. Sabita Rani Paul – Overcoming Carcinoma Cervix For Mrs. Paul, a 54yearold battling cervical cancer, the journey was tough. Years of tobacco addiction took a toll, and she struggled with weakness and difficulty eating. After initial treatments elsewhere, she turned to D.S Research Centre in 2023. With ongoing care and guidance, she’s now healthier, with improved appetite and energy. Her story is one of determination and trust in alternative healing. Mr. Jogeswar Bordoloi – Battling MidThoracic Oesophageal Cancer At 73, Mr. Bordoloi faced a diagnosis of midthoracic oesophageal cancer. His journey included chemoradiation therapy, but he chose D.S Research Centre for longterm care. Today, his scans show remarkable progress, and he’s thriving with stability and renewed strength, proving that age is just a number when it comes to hope. Mr. Debabrata Das – Defying Brain Glioma at 24 Diagnosed with brain glioma at just 24, Debabrata faced a future filled with uncertainty. After conventional treatments, he turned to D.S Research Centre in 2019. Over time, his symptoms have eased, his strength has returned, and he continues to thrive, reminding us that every small victory counts. Mr. Dulal Kalita – Beating Carcinoma Left Pyriform Sinus Mr. Kalita, diagnosed at 49, endured years of treatments and challenges. But since joining D.S Research Centre in 2016, his life has taken a positive turn. With regular screenings and consistent care, he is stable and living life to the fullest. A Legacy of Care These are just a few of the countless stories that inspire us daily. At D.S Research Centre Guwahati, our patients are more than just cases; they are partners in a shared journey. Whether it's stabilizing disease, alleviating suffering, or celebrating moments of triumph, our work is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. As Helen Keller once said, “Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.” Together, with our patients, their families, and our dedicated team, we are raising a cheer for hope. Here’s to continuing this incredible journey—one step, one story, and one life at a time. Let’s keep the hope alive. 💜 |
