Being a working woman, I can proudly say that I have been raised, and treated, in the same kind of environment.

At present, I am working with the cancer research centre in Varanasi. The cooperative and healthy working environment, and the continuous encouragement given by the company has given me more power to achieve my life goals. In India where women are considered a stigma and suppressed by society, it feels special when you are recognized and greeted at your workplace. Indeed unexpected, but truly gratifying. A gesture which has completely taken me aback. I highly appreciate the efforts taken to make the women in the cancer research centre in Varanasi feel special with the surprise of yummy cakes (a special gift from the company), and a day full of fun games on the occasion of International Women's Day.

While working with the cancer research centre in Varanasi, I have seen and met numerous female cancer patients who were suffering because they ignored their health issues in initial stages. Later, the disease converted into cancer for such women. We sincerely request every woman to take care of themselves. You are the foundation of the family. To run a strong family, you need to be strong. We would appeal to the family to take care of the women who are ignoring their health in the quest for success for their loved ones.

It is amazing to see an organization taking into account the things related to women and their being. Today we do our homely chores, work hard at the office as professionals, and are at par with the men in every way. At the end of the day, all that matters is realizing the responsibility of a person towards their fellow beings.

We, in the cancer research centre, are not only given a regular health check up, but also advised and given a reminder to keep ourselves healthy.

It is a great honor to work with the cancer research centre in Varanasi; an organization which believes in us, and is concerned for our welfare.
