Multiple myeloma is a type of blood cancer that affects bone marrow by infiltration of cancerous plasma cells. Plasma cells are responsible for producing antibodies that help fight infections and are a crucial component of the body's immune system. It is also known as Plasma cell Myeloma. Genetic mutation is the cause of Multiple Myeloma which progresses spontaneously as age progresses.
